The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 no soul will deny its coming. 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 And the mountains shall be made to crumble with (an awful) crumbling, 5 So they will become like fine dust, scattered in a shaft of light. 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 The people of the right hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their right hands. How happy they will be! 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise). 12 a host of the ancients 13 And a few of those of later time. 14 On lined couches, 15 facing one another. 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 No after-ache will they receive therefrom, nor will they suffer intoxication: 19 And such fruits as they fancy, 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 and wide-eyed houris 22 Like unto hidden pearls, 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 Those on the Right, how fortunate are those on the Right! 27 (will be) among thornless Lote trees. 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 and spreading shade 30 near to flowing water 31 And fruit in plenty 32 Neither out of reach nor yet forbidden, 33 And carpets raised. 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 And made them virgins. 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 with those who have attained to righteousness: 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
