The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 Then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming. 2 abasing [some,] exalting [others]! 3 When the earth is shaken 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 Turned to dust, floating in the air, 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 Then (as to) the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 8 Those on the Left -- how unlucky are those on the Left! 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 Those! they shall be the brought nigh, 11 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise). 12 a good many of those of olden times, 13 And a few of later ages, 14 (They will be) on Thrones encrusted (with gold and precious stones), 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 And such fruits as they fancy, 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 as the likeness of hidden pearls, 23 a recompense for all that they did. 24 There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination 25 Except the word peace, peace. 26 As for the People on the Right, how fortunate shall be the people on the Right! 27 Midst lote-trees thornless. 28 And [banana] trees layered [with fruit] 29 And spreading shade, 30 and flowing water 31 And fruit, abundant [and varied], 32 Neither ending nor forbidden. 33 and raised couches 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 So made them as maidens. 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 For those on the right hand; 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
