The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ WHEN THAT which must come to pass [at last] comes to pass, 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 Abasing (one party), exalting (the other), 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 So those on the Right Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Records in their right hands), Who will be those on the Right Hand? (As a respect for them, because they will enter Paradise). 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 In the gardens of bliss. 12 A [large] company of the former peoples 13 and a lesser number from the later generations. 14 They will recline on jewelled couches 15 Reclining thereon, face to face. 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 with goblets, and ewers, and cups filled with water from unsullied springs 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 And fruits such as they choose, 20 And the flesh of fowl such as they desire. 21 And companions with big beautiful eyes 22 The like of the hidden pearls: 23 A recompense for that which they have been working. 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 They shall recline on high amidst lote trees without thorns 28 and acacias flower-clad, 29 and spreading shade 30 near to flowing water 31 And fruit, abundant [and varied], 32 never-ending and unrestricted, 33 And raised couches. 34 We have created (their Companions) of special creation. 35 and We made them spotless virgins, 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 All this will be for the People on the Right; 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
