The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event takes place, 1 there will be nought that could give the lie to its having come to pass, 2 (Many) will it bring low; (many) will it exalt; 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 and the mountains crumbled, 5 So they will become like fine dust, scattered in a shaft of light. 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 The People on the Right: and how fortunate will be the People on the Right! 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 And the foremost in the race, the foremost in the race: 10 These are they who are drawn nigh (to Allah), 11 In the Gardens of Pleasure, 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 And a few of the later peoples, 14 upon close-wrought couches 15 Reclining thereon, face to face. 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 with goblets, jugs and cups of crystal clear wine 18 by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk; 19 And fruit of what they select 20 and the flesh of birds, as they desire. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 Like unto preserved pearls. 23 As reward for what they used to do. 24 No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc.). 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 And those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 (They will be) among thornless lote-trees, 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 In shade long-extended, 30 And water poured out 31 and abundant fruit, 32 never-failing and never out of reach. 33 And carpets raised. 34 Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation 35 So made them as maidens. 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 For the fellows on the right hand. 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
