The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Event (the resurrection) comes 1 There is no belying its coming to pass-- 2 It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 And ye are classes three. 7 Companions of the Right, what are the Companions of the Right? 8 Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!) 9 The third to the fore shall be the foremost. 10 Those are they who will be brought nigh 11 In Gardens of Delight. 12 (a throng of the ancients 13 And a few from among the latter. 14 They (will be seated) on gold-encrusted couches, 15 reclining upon them, set face to face, 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 with goblets and ewers and a cup filled with a drink drawn from a running spring, 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire. 21 And companions with big beautiful eyes 22 Like unto hidden pearls, 23 A recompense for that which they have been working. 24 Therein they hear no vain or sinful discourse. 25 (Naught) but the saying: Peace, (and again) Peace. 26 And those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 27 Midst lote-trees thornless. 28 and acacias flower-clad, 29 And extended shade, 30 And in perpetually flowing water. 31 And abundant fruit, 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 And raised couches; 34 Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation 35 and shall have made them virgins, 36 Loving, of equal age. 37 like of age for the Companions of the Right. 38

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
