The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 abasing [some,] exalting [others]! 3 When the earth is shaken violently, 4 and the mountains will crumble 5 Turned to dust, floating in the air, 6 On that day, you (mankind) will be divided into three groups: 7 So those on the Right Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Records in their right hands), Who will be those on the Right Hand? (As a respect for them, because they will enter Paradise). 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 These will be those Nearest to Allah: 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 A [large] company of the former peoples 13 And a few of those of later time. 14 On lined couches, 15 Reclining thereon, face to face. 16 Youths of never-ending bloom will pass round to them 17 With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine, 18 neither causing headaches, nor intoxication; 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 and the flesh of birds, as they desire. 21 and wide-eyed houris 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 As reward for what they used to do. 24 Not frivolity will they hear therein, nor any taint of ill,- 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 NOW AS FOR those who have attained to righteousness - what of those who have attained to righteousness? 27 [They, too, will find themselves] amidst fruit laden lote-trees, 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 And shade extended 30 And in perpetually flowing water. 31 and fruit abounding, 32 unfailing and not forbidden. 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 Verily We! We have created those maidens by a creation. 35 And have made them virgins. 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 For the fellows on the right hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
