The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt; 3 When the earth is shaken up convulsively, 4 and the mountains fragmented 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 The People on the Right: and how fortunate will be the People on the Right! 8 And those on the left hand; how miserable shall those on the left hand be! 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 It is they who are the close ones. 11 In gardens of delight; 12 (a throng of the ancients 13 and a few from later times. 14 On thrones decorated, 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring - 18 that will neither make the head throb, nor intoxicate, 19 And fruit that they prefer 20 Bird meats that they relish, 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 Like pearls safely hidden. 23 The reward for what they did. 24 No empty talk will they hear there, nor any call to sin, 25 Except the word peace, peace. 26 NOW AS FOR those who have attained to righteousness - what of those who have attained to righteousness? 27 They shall be in the midst of thornless lote trees, 28 and flower-clad acacias, 29 and continuous shade, 30 And water gushing, 31 And fruit in abundance. 32 Neither intercepted nor forbidden, 33 And carpets raised. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 and We made them spotless virgins, 36 loving companions, matching in age, 37 For those on the right hand; 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
