The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the Event will come to pass 1 (and none denies its descending) 2 abasing, exalting, 3 when the earth will suddenly shake with a terrible shaking, 4 And the mountains are broken down, crumbling 5 So that they become a scattered dust, 6 And ye are classes three. 7 Those on the right hand; how happy shall those on the right hand be! 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 And those Foremost (in Faith) will be Foremost (in the Hereafter). 10 they who were [always] drawn close unto God! 11 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise). 12 a host of the ancients 13 And a few from those of later times. 14 On studded thrones. 15 reclining on them, arrayed face to face; 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of limpid drink. 18 neither causing headaches, nor intoxication; 19 Also, they will be served with the fruits of their choice 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 like unto pearls [still] hidden in their shells. 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 Other than "Peace, peace" the salutation. 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 And acacia covered with heaps of bloom, 29 and extended shade, 30 Gushing water, 31 and fruits abounding 32 Neither out of reach nor yet forbidden, 33 And maidens incomparable. 34 for, behold, We shall have brought them into being in a life renewed, 35 and made them virgins, 36 loving companions, matching in age, 37 For the fellows on the right hand. 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
