The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event will come to pass 1 And there can be no denying of its befalling. 2 abasing [some,] exalting [others]! 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 And the mountains are broken down, crumbling 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 you shall be divided into three parties, 7 Then (as to) the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 8 Companions of the Left, what are the Companions of the Left? 9 But the foremost shall be [they who in life were] the foremost [in faith and good works]: 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 In gardens of bliss [will they dwell] 12 A throng of the ancients, 13 but [only] a few of later times. 14 (They will be) on Thrones encrusted (with gold and precious stones), 15 facing one another. 16 Youths of never-ending bloom will pass round to them 17 with goblets, and ewers, and cups filled with water from unsullied springs 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 And fruits such as they choose, 20 And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire. 21 and fair maidens with large, lustrous eyes 22 like the pearls in their shells: 23 as reward for their deeds. 24 There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination 25 Other than "Peace, peace" the salutation. 26 And those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 Midst lote-trees thornless. 28 and banana trees, 29 And in everlasting shade. 30 Gushing water, 31 And fruit in plenty 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 And maidens incomparable. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 And made them virgins. 36 Loving, equals in age, 37 For those on the right. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
