A multitude of those of old 39 And a numerous company from among the last. 40 And the fellows on the left hand; how miserable shall the fellows on the left hand be! 41 In hot wind and boiling water, 42 and the shadows of black smoke 43 Neither cool nor refreshing. 44 They were endowed with good things 45 And were stubborn upon the great sin (of disbelief). 46 And they used to say: When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again, 47 Will our ancient forefathers be resurrected too? 48 Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, the former and the later peoples 49 shall be gathered to the appointed time of a known day. 50 Then indeed you, O those astray [who are] deniers, 51 will eat from the fruit of the tree of Zaqqum, 52 filling your bellies, with it 53 And thereon ye will drink of boiling water, 54 lapping it down like thirsty camels.' 55 Thus shall they be entertained on the Day of Recompense. 56 WE who have created you, [O men:] why, then, do you not accept the truth? 57 So what is your opinion regarding the semen you discharge? 58 Create him ye, or are We the Creator? 59 We have decreed Death to be your common lot, and We are not to be frustrated 60 in replacing you with another creation like you, changing you into a form which you do not know. 61 And certainly you know the first growth, why do you not then mind? 62 Have you considered the seeds you till? 63 Is it you that make it grow, or are We the Grower? 64 Were it Our Will, We could crumble it to dry powder, and ye would be left in wonderment, 65 (And say:) "We have fallen into debt; 66 Nay! we are deprived. 67 Did you cast a good look at the water that you drink? 68 Is it you who cause it to descend from the clouds, or do We? 69 If We willed, surely We would make it brackish. Wherefore give ye not thanks? 70 Have you thought about the fire that you kindle. 71 Is it you who have brought into being the tree that serves as its fuel - or are We the cause of its coming into being? 72 We have made it to be a reminder and a benefit for the wayfarers. 73 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 74

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
