A multitude of those (on the Right Hand) will be from the first generation (who embraced Islam). 39 and a throng of the later folk. 40 And those on the left hand: What of those on the left hand? 41 (They will be) in the midst of a Fierce Blast of Fire and in Boiling Water, 42 and the shadow of a smoking blaze 43 Neither cool nor honorable. 44 Indeed they were, before that, indulging in affluence, 45 and persisted in the great sin 46 It was they who said, "Shall we be resurrected after we die and have turned into dust and bones? 47 And our forefathers [as well]?" 48 Say: "Indeed, the earlier and the later generations 49 will be brought together for an appointment on an appointed day. 50 Then you, you misguided ones, who deny the truth, 51 shall eat the fruit of the tree of Zaqqum, 52 And shall fill therewith your bellies. 53 And drinking on top of it from scalding water 54 Drinking even as the camel drinketh. 55 That is their accommodation on the Day of Recompense. 56 We created you, why will you not believe! 57 Have you considered the seed you spill? 58 Do ye create it or are We the Creator? 59 We have decreed death among you, and We are not to be outdone 60 from replacing you by others like yourselves or changing your forms and re-creating you in forms that you know nothing of. 61 You have known the first creation, then why do you not reflect? 62 Tell Me! The seed that you sow in the ground. 63 Is it ye that cause it to grow, or are We the Cause? 64 If We pleased, We should have certainly made it broken down into pieces, then would you begin to lament: 65 'We are debt-loaded; 66 Surely, we have been deprived (of the benefits)". 67 Have you considered the water you drink? 68 Is it you who sent it down from the clouds or is it We who have sent it down? 69 If We had so pleased, We could have made it bitter. So why would you not give thanks? 70 Have you considered the fire which you strike? 71 Did you make its timber to grow, or did We make it? 72 We have made it a reminder and an advantage for the wayfarers of the desert. 73 Then glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 74

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
