Will ye then admit the truth? 57 Have ye seen that which ye emit? 58 Do you yourselves create it, or are We the Creators? 59 We have decreed Death to be your common lot, and We are not to be frustrated 60 that We may exchange the likes of you, and make you to grow again in a fashion you know not. 61 You have known the first growth; so why will you not remember? 62 Have you thought about what crops you plant? 63 Is it you that cause it to grow, or are We the causers of growth? 64 Did We will, We would make it broken orts, and you would remain bitterly jesting -- 65 That, “We have indeed been penalised!” 66 nay; we have been undone!” 67 Have you ever considered the water which you drink? 68 Is it you who caused it to descend from the cloud, or is it We Who cause it to descend? 69 If We pleased, We would have made it salty; why do you not then give thanks? 70 So what is your opinion regarding the fire which you kindle? 71 Did you produce the tree that serves as fuel or do We? 72 It is We who have made it as a reminder and a means of comfort for the people. 73 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 74
