After we have died and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up again? 47 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 48 Proclaim, “Without doubt all – the former and the latter.” 49 shall be gathered together to the appointed time on a known Day' 50 Then you, you misguided ones, who deny the truth, 51 Ye verily will eat of a tree called Zaqqum 52 filling your bellies, with it 53 And drink over it scalding water, 54 "Indeed ye shall drink like diseased camels raging with thirst!" 55 Such shall be your hospitality on the Day of Recompense. 56 It is We Who created you, so why do you not accept the truth? 57 So what is your opinion regarding the semen you discharge? 58 Is it you who creates it, or are We the Creator? 59 We have incorporated death in your constitution, and We shall not be hindered 60 In that We will change your likenesses and produce you in that [form] which you do not know. 61 You have certainly known the first creation. Why, then, do you not take heed? 62 Have you seen what you sow? 63 Do you yourselves sow it, or are We the Sowers? 64 [For,] were it Our will, We could indeed turn it into chaff, and you would be left to wonder [and to lament,] 65 (And say:) "We have fallen into debt; 66 Rather, we have been prevented' 67 Did you cast a good look at the water that you drink? 68 Is it you who cause it to come down from the clouds - or are We the cause of its coming down? 69 Were it Our Will, We could make it salt (and unpalatable): then why do ye not give thanks? 70 Have ye observed the fire which ye strike out; 71 Did you make its tree grow or was it We Who made it grow? 72 It is We who have made it as a reminder and a means of comfort for the people. 73 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 74
