۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
