Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 and that hour you are watching 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
