۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
