۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
