۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a book that is protected 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 If he is among the near 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
