۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
