▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 and you are watching at that time 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
