۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 right before your very eyes? 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
