Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
