▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
