۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
