۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 In a book that is protected 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 right before your very eyes? 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
