۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 in a hidden Book 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
