▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in hell. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
