۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 and that hour you are watching 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
