۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
