Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 and that hour you are watching 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
