۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
