۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 In a book that is protected 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 and you are watching at that time 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
