۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
