Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
