۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
