۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 and you are watching at that time 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
