1/2 Hizb 54

۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
