Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
