1/2 Hizb 54

۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
