▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 In a book that is protected 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
