▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
