▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 and that hour you are watching 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
