۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 in a hidden Book 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
