۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 and you are watching at that time 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
