۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
