▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
