▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 and you are watching at that time 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
