▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 and you are watching at that time 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
