۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
