۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
